Pre-Ballet Division

The Pre-Ballet Division emphasizes coordination, musicality, basic skills, classroom etiquette, and a love for dance while teaching early ballet and tap steps. This program is based on the Royal Academy of Dancing, CPYB, and Leap N Learn syllabi.

Pre-Ballet Information​

​Dance With Me

Ages 18 months to 3.5 years.  A 45-minute class for children and a caretaker.

No dress code is required but ballet shoes are helpful.

Tuition $55/month

 

​Pre-Ballet with Tap 1 
Ages 3-5 years.  A 45-minute class with an emphasis on creative movement and basic ballet skills.

Tuition $65/month


Pre-Ballet with Tap 2    
Ages 4.5-6 years. A one-hour class focusing on basic ballet, basic tap steps, and creative movement.  

Tuition $74/month

Pre-Ballet with Tap 3   
Ages 5-7 years entering kindergarten or first grade. A one-hour class focusing on basic ballet, basic tap steps, and creative movement preparing the student for Ballet 1.

Tuition $74/month

Dress Code

​All girls in Pre-Ballet 1 and 2

Light pink leotard (it may have a plain short skirt attached but NO tutu)
Plain light pink footed dance tights
Pink ballet shoes with elastic strap
Black tap shoes

Dancers should also have a dance bag
Hair may be worn in either a classical bun or a neat ponytail with the hair swept away from face. Students with very short hair should wear a headband.

All girls in Pre-Ballet 3

Light pink leotard (NO SKIRTS)
Plain light pink footed dance tights
Pink ballet shoes with elastic strap
Black tap shoes

Dancers should also have a dance bag
Hair should be worn in a classical bun.

Students with very short hair should wear a headband.

All boys in Pre-Ballet 1, 2, and 3

White t-shirt

Black bike shorts or black tights

White socks (not needed if wearing tights)

Black ballet shoes with elastic strap

Black tap shoes

Dancers should also have a dance bag

Drawstrings need to be tucked into shoes.

Students should always wear street clothing over their ballet attire when coming to and from their classes.

Ballet shoes must never be worn outdoors as this tracks dirt into the studio 

No jewelry allowed except small earrings 

No legwarmers
